Painting Guide: Shield Maiden Sigrún

Priming

Degrease the printed figure first, then prime it thin. Black from below, white from above — that sets the first light without a brush.

Base coat

Lay down skin tones, leather and cloth in solid base colours. Two thin coats beat one thick one.

Highlights

Finally accent metal and edges. An edge highlight on helmet and blade gives the shield maiden its finishing touch.
